Shamsi Educational Foundation

Introduction

Established in 1990, and registered in 1992 under the auspices of Shamsi Educational Foundation, a non profitable organization came into being with the purpose of providing high quality education to students of each class. SEF started from ten rooms and now has grown to 2 large purpose built campuses. Today, both campuses of Shamsi Schools are providing affordable and quality education that follows the Pakistani curriculum, to boys and girls from religiously diverse, multi lingual and multi ethnic backgrounds in most densely populated areas of Karachi.

Each campus of SHAMSI SCHOOL is fully equipped with modern facilities- audio visual for affective teaching in all class rooms, computer and science labs and rich library to ensure that our students are provided with a nurturing environment that will help them achieve their maximum academic and potential.

Extracurricular activities are also at the core of the SHAMSI SCHOOL model. In both campuses, we encourage sports as we believe that it instills a sense of teamwork, sportsmanship and competitive spirit in our students.

In Shamsi Schools we give great importance to the values that we all deem and are important to us, our school, our community and our nation.

Through their learning experiences students develop their ability to express their own values, explore with empathy the values of others, critically analyze values and actions based on them, and discuss agreements that arise from differences in values.

They learn to make ethical decisions and to act on them.

Our all teachers understand that teaching positive human values (e.g. respect, honesty, compassion, humility and responsibility) improves the quality of education in schools.

It is by upholding these values and by acting on them that we are able to live together and thrive for betterment and success.
